Itinerary Overview

Day 1
Papeete

Welcome to the largest city on the island of Tahiti, and the capital French Polynesia. Here you'll find a busy government centre and industrial port with a lot of charm. It's also a great starting point to explore Tahiti's several lagoons, black and white sand beaches, and volcanoes as well.

Day 2
Moorea

Moorea's craggy volcanic peaks, reflected in the tranquil waters of Cook's and Oponohu bays, protrude from the island's basaltic base. Lush mountain slopes are covered with rainforest or pineapple plantations, and white sand beaches border crystalline lagoons.

Day 3
Rangiroa

Rangiroa or Te Kokota is the largest atoll in the Tuamotus and one of the largest in the world. It is part of the Palliser group. The nearest atoll is Tikehau, 12 km to the west. It is about 355 km northeast of Tahiti

Day 19
Panama City

A diverse multicultural city of almost 1.3 million, Panama City offers a lot more than an up-close view of the Canal. Shantytowns slink up alongside shiny high-rise condos. The Old City is an atmospheric labyrinth of churches, plazas and palaces. Fifteen miles from downtown Panama City, Soberania National Park is an excellent destination for hiking and birding. For a fascinating look at the canal, take a taxi or local bus to Miraflores Locks Visitor Center and look down on the traffic below
