DAY 1
Arrive Stockholm
On arrival in Stockholm, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Today, tour this modern city at your leisure, perhaps wandering the narrow streets of Gamla Stan.
DAY 2
Stockholm
Stockholm is yours to explore today on a guided tour. Tonight, if Swedish cuisine is on your mind, then be sure to visit a local restaurant at your leisure to enjoy a smorgasbord — a world-famous Swedish tradition.
DAY 3
Stockholm, Ostersund
Bid farewell to Stockholm and head inland by InterCity train to Ostersund, which is nestled on the shore of beautiful Lake Storsjon, Sweden’s fifth-largest lake.
DAY 4
Ostersund, Inlandsbanan, Lapland, Arjeplog
Leaving Ostersund, you’ll travel north into the untamed wilderness of Lapland aboard the iconic Inlandsbanan train. Lapland is home to the Sami, who are renowned for their reindeer herding skills. You’ll get a real taste of their unique culture during a tour of Batsuoj village.
DAY 5
Arjeplog, Arctic Circle, Jokkmokk

Leaving Arjeplog, you’ll travel further north by coach across the Arctic Circle into the Land of the Midnight Sun.
DAY 6
Jokkmokk, Ofoten Railway, Narvik

Enjoy a journey on one of the world’s most northerly railway lines, the Ofoten Railway.
Today, travel on the northerly Ofoten Railway through Sweden’s breathtaking mountains into Norway, traversing steep mountainsides with sheer drops to the fjords below. Arrive later in Narvik, a popular destination to spot the spectacular northern lights during winter.
DAY 7
Narvik
Enjoy a free day exploring Narvik today. Perhaps head to the Narvik War Museum to discover the war history of northern Norway and Narvik's role in World War II.
DAY 8
Narvik, Stiklestad
Today you will travel by coach to the town of Fauske before continuing by rail on the Nordlandsbanen to Verdal and the village of Stiklestad. Discover Stiklestad, the site of King Olav’s death in 1030.
DAY 9
Stiklestad, Trondheim
Begin the day with a tour of the village Stiklestad, site of one of Norway's most famous battles. Afterwards, travel from Stiklestad to Trondheim, admiring the natural beauty along the way.
DAY 10
Trondheim
One of the oldest cities in Norway, Trondheim is an atmospheric metropolis that is a delight to explore. Embark on a guided tour of its best cultural highlights, including the famous Old Town Bridge, the Royal Residence and the Bakklandet, a neighbourhood filled with traditional streets and colourful wooden houses.
DAY 11
Trondheim, Rauma Railway, Geiranger

Stunning scenery awaits today as you join the 114-kilometre-long Rauma Railway for a journey through magnificent contrasting landscapes.
On your rail journey today, navigate the same course as the emerald waters of the River Rauma as it winds around the hillsides below jagged peaks as you head to Andalsnes. Later, arrive in Geiranger, a small tourist village in the Sunnmore region of Norway.
DAY 12
Geiranger, Geirangerfjord

Take in the exquisite scenery of the spectacular Geirangerfjord by boat today. Cruising along the serene, deep water, the steep sides of the fjord seem to tower over the boat.
Geirangerfjord is a World Heritage-listed site alive with colours and contrasts. DAY 13
Geiranger, Flam
Leave Geiranger by coach this morning and travel through Norway’s incredible fjord country, stopping at the unique Kaupanger Stave Church en route. Your next overnight destination is Flam, a tiny, quaint village at the head of the Aurlandsfjord, which is home to one of the most remarkable railways in the world – the Flam Railway.
DAY 14
Flam Railway, Myrdal, Sognefjord, Bergen

Cruise along Norway’s longest and deepest fjord, the Sognefjord.
On your Insider Experience today, journey into the mountains along one of the steepest railways in the world, the Flam Railway. Reach the end at Myrdal and return to Flam. After, you’ll board a boat for your second Insider Experience. Following your cruise, board a coach for your journey to the magnificent city of Bergen.
DAY 15
Bergen, Bryggen
Begin your day with a tour of Bergen, including the historic Bryggen. Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch at Bergen Fish Market. There will then be plenty of time to explore with the rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 16
Bergen, Bergen Railway, Oslo
