Sailing Itinerary:

Day 1 - Corfu

A coveted location at the gateway to the Adriatic, beautifully green mountains with creeks of white sand and a Venitian-style fortified town give it its own quite unique identity. Ship docked in port. Passengers boarding and disembarking at this port of call.

Day 2 - Otranto

The old town of Otranto, located in Puglia at the heel of the Italian boot, is absolutely splendid. Its surrounding ramparts that protect the Aragonese castle, its white alleys and the pretty view of the small fishing port give it the appearance of an Arab town. Boat at anchor, beach, dive locker closed.

Day 3 - Gallipoli

Gallipoli, meaning "beautiful city" in Greek, honours past and future with its mix of contemporary architecture in the borgo and the splendour of its ancient palaces in the historic centre. Ship at anchor, water sports available, no direct access to a beach.

Day 4 - Taormina

With the splendour of the coast on one side and the stately beauty of Mount Etna on the other, Taormina's lofty position on Mount Tauro gives it stunning views. The ancient Greco-Roman theatre is just one of the town's interesting historical sights. Boat at anchor, water sports available, no direct access to a beach.

Day 5 - Lipari

The island's volcanic origins have forged the most astonishing landscapes. Invaded time and again, its citadel reveals the island's multi-facetted personality through the multiple influences of its architure. Ship at anchor. No Water sports.

Day 6 - Positano

Window onto the Tyrrhenian sea. A chic, mythical resort on the Amalfi coast, you can admire the colourful houses of this famous village, standing out on the cliff face as the ship approaches the coast.

Day 7 - Capri

French singer Hervé Vilard immortalised the "Island of Mermaids" in the '60s with a hit that claimed Capri was over (a reference to a love affair that started there). But Capri is far from over. It has so much to offer, from wonders such as the Grotta Azzure with its blue light, and the sheer Italian chic of the Via Camerelle, which has as many luxury stores as Paris's Faubourg Saint Honoré. Four kilometres away you can visit the more rural Anacapri. A Greek inscription dating from the days of Augustus welcomes visitors with: "Citizen, welcome to the land of gentle idleness". Two thousand years later, the invitation is still as vibrant as ever. No, Capri isn't over.

The historic centre holds an irresistible fascination for visitors. The civilisations that helped weave its history have left their mark on the sun-scorched stones and the shady little streets.
