Fado & Dinner Walk
Enjoy the enchanting Fado districts of Mouraria and Alfama in Lisbon as you stroll around the top spots in town where you'll catch sight of the elaborate architecture of both the churches and monasteries. Get ready for a special night to immerse yourself into the culture and gastronomy of the Portuguese capital. Get to savour the flavour of Lisbon’s favourite liqueur as you wander around the atmospheric Alfama at dusk.

Day 1: Lisbon, Portugal
Welcome to Lisbon where your journey into wonder begins with a warm greeting by the crew as you step on board Scenic Eclipse.

Day 2: At Sea
Acquaint yourself with the exceptional range of facilities on board your luxurious yacht. Choose a class in one of the fitness spaces or relax in one of the therapy lounges in the Senses Spa. Tempt your palate from one of the exceptional dining venues or try wine tasting.

Day 3: Funchal (Maderia)
Madeira sits in the Atlantic Ocean at the top of an extinct underwater volcano. The capital Funchal is nestled in a great natural amphitheatre, facing the Atlantic against a dramatic mountain backdrop. Today choose one of our Scenic Freechoice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion.

Free choice: Explore the Botanical Gardens before riding a traditional toboggan back to the waterfront or tour the island and visit a sugarcane factory. Alternatively, visit a family owned winery with over 200 years of experience.

Discovery: Hike through the Levada do Norte one of the longest and oldest levadas on Madeira Island before visiting the Cabo Girão Skywalk, or kayak along one of the natural reserves of Madeira exploring caves and deserted beaches.

Day 4: Porto Santo
Claiming to have one of Europe’s finest golden-sand beaches, Porto Santo is a haven of gold and blue, relaxation and rest. Porto Santos famous 9km long beach is said to have curative powers, with sand and waters are rich in iodine, calcium and magnesium, making them highly beneficial for treating rheumatism and bone diseases. Enjoy your day here at leisure.

Day 5: At Sea
Scenic Eclipse’s opulent Senses Spa has spacious areas for reflection and relaxation. Discover the ancient art of Nordic bathing in the Scandinavian-inspired plunge pools and saunas. Daily entertainment, Scenic Epicure culinary adventures, some quiet time in the Observatory Lounge, all this and more is at your fingertips.

Day 6: Casablanca, Morocco
Steeped in tradition, Morocco features a combination of Arab, Berber, and Mediterranean influences. From striking architecture to time-honoured artisan practices, Morocco is a cultural paradise.

Free choice: Unearth the secrets of Marrakech and marvel at its Moorish palaces and royal tombs with your local guide or visit Jardin Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint-Laurent Museum. Alternatively, in Casablanca, discover the UNESCO World Heritage Hassan II Mosque followed by a guided tour of the city’s thriving street food scene, a delicious and sensory experience.

Day 7: Tangier  
At the southern tip of the Mediterranean Sea lies Tangier. Guarding the Strait of Gibraltar, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. Tangier is Europe’s gateway to Africa. Influenced over its history by many cultures and civilisations, Tangier has a strong Spanish influence making it an excellent showcase for Spanish-Moorish architecture. Known as the white city for its whitewashed houses strewn along the winding streets, Tangier is today a city undergoing significant development and modernisation.

Free choice: Enjoy a tour of Tangier, or visit Hercules Caves learning of the myths and legends before strolling the streets of Kasbah. Choose to walk through the Old Town of Asilah, or experience the mix of Arabic and Spanish cultures in Tetouan.

Day 8: Málaga, Spain
Explore the city of Málaga on Spain’s Costa del Sol, with more than 3,000 years of history, this 15th century merchants' centre is today a vibrant cosmopolitan city. Visitors flock to the region for its sunshine, and artistic roots. The city is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, and proudly pays homage to the virtuoso with a dedicated museum. Uncover gastronomic delights such as “tinto de verano”, an iced summer wine and wander the streets filled with architectural delights from colourful baroque designs to historic Roman theatre.

Free choice: Delve into the art and architecture of Málaga with a visit to Picasso Museum and a gleaming white-stone cathedral, or uncover the secrets of the historic city and visit Gibralfaro Castle. Alternatively, discover the village of Mijas.

Discovery: Manoeuvre through narrow Arabic streets and learn the history and culture of Málaga on a bike tour.

Day 9: Puerto Banús
Puerto Banús sets the standard in exclusivity, and is known for luxurious cars, expensive shops and impressive yachts – where Scenic Eclipse will feel right at home. This small town was developed in the 1970s to be the perfect combination of Andalusian culture, reflecting the fishing ports of the area, as well as a luxurious port town with sophistication and elegance. Set against a backdrop of immense mountains, wind your way through the town’s narrow streets lined with flower boxes. With a late-night departure, enjoy the opportunity to experience Puerto Banús by both day and night.

Free choice: Indulge your senses with the spectacular beauty of Andalucía during a guided tour of Ronda, or spend the day exploring Marbella.

Discovery: Unveil the beautiful surroundings of the Lake Istan on a kayak tour, or go for a hike in the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park.

Day 10: Seville
On the shores of the Guadalquivir River is Seville, the elegant capital of Andalusia. Seville is an architect's dream with historic styles ranging from the Gothic design of Cathedral de Santa María de la Sede to the Baroque style Iglesia Colegial del Salvador. Docking right in the heart of the city, simply step off Scenic Eclipse to start your own discovery..

Enrich: Visit one of the oldest bullrings for an exclusive equestrian flamenco show that will lavish all your senses.

Day 11: Seville
Today choose one of our Scenic Free choice activities or join a more active Scenic Discovery excursion.

Free choice: Explore the monuments including the UNESCO-listed Alcázar Palace or visit the sherry capital, Jerez for a tasting. Alternatively, choose to visit nearby historic Córdoba.

Discovery: Join a guided bike tour passing by several sites, including Alcázar Palace, the Plaza de España and Jardines de Murillo.

Day 12: Portimão, Portugal
On the western Algarve, Portimão is a small port with a bustling historic centre. Once a well-known fishing port, now transformed into a breath-taking promenade with shops selling traditional lace, ceramics, and leather goods, and fantastic restaurants. Portimão is much loved for the steep limestone cliffs that surround its sandy beach of Praia da Rocha. Architectural masterpieces from the 19th and 20th century seamlessly blend with colourful contemporary structures creating the Portimão we know today.

Free choice: Visit Cabo San Vincente and Sagres Fort or explore the unique sandstone formations of Ponte de Piedade. Alternatively, uncover the ancient capital of Silves.

Discovery: Take a Scenic Discovery excursion by bike to the beaches of Praia da Rocha, or go kayaking and see ancient rock formations of the Algarve.

Day 13: Lisbon
Disembark after breakfast as you farewell the crew and take away memories of a truly unforgettable cruise

All guests are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with either Pfizer BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson, a minimum of 14 days prior to joining their cruise and produce a negative RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken within 72 hours of departure and will be at guests own expense. Guests will be required to present confirmation of vaccination and negative RT-PCR test result upon boarding and will be refused boarding if this documentation is not provided.
