Enjoy another day exploring Denver at your leisure. Overnight in Denver.

DAY 3: Denver to Glenwood Springs

Depart Denver and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. Cross the Continental Divide as you take in the spectacular views of rugged canyons and the Colorado River before arriving at the resort town of Glenwood Springs. Overnight in Glenwood Springs. B, L.

DAY 4: Glenwood Springs to Moab

Depart Glenwood Springs and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer in the morning. Cross the Colorado-Utah border with stunning mountain views in the background. Red sandstone landscapes emerge as you approach Moab. Overnight in Moab. B.

DAY 5: Moab

Enjoy the day exploring the Scarlet City at your own leisure. Known as the Adventure Capital of Utah, there is no shortage of activities to choose from in Moab. Overnight in Moab.

DAY 6: Moab to Bryce Canyon

Travel from Moab through Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument and enjoy a guided tour of Capitol Reef National Park en route to Bryce Canyon. Continue west along one of America’s most spectacular roads, Scenic Highway 12 and explore Bryce Canyon National Park on a guided sightseeing tour. Overnight in Bryce Canyon. L.

DAY 7: Bryce Canyon to Las Vegas

Enjoy a scenic guided sightseeing tour from Bryce Canyon to Las Vegas via Zion National Park. Experience the Mount Carmel Tunnel, Zion Canyon, and the Virgin River. Overnight in Las Vegas. B, L.

DAY 8: Las Vegas

Enjoy the day exploring Las Vegas at your own leisure. Overnight in Las Vegas.

Discovery Banff Circle Journey Itinerary:

Day 1: Vancouver

Arrive in Vancouver and spend time exploring this scenic coastal city on your own. That could be discovering Stanley Park, taking a small ferry to Granville Island, or much more. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 2: Vancouver to Kamloops

Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, located in the heart of British Columbia's interior. On today's journey, you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like landscapes of the BC interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day ends as the train travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into the town of Kamloops. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day 3: Kamloops to Jasper

Your journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again, you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Today's highlights include Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, followed by Pyramid Falls and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Your rail journey ends this evening on arrival in the resort town of Jasper. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 4: Jasper

Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. The resort town of Jasper and the surrounding national park offer various activities from relaxation to adventure. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 5: Jasper to Banff

Travel from Jasper to Banff via one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. Lake Louise, Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk, and Athabasca Falls are among the day's highlights. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn about its geological features. Lunch is provided at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. Afterwards, a brief stop will be made at Bow Lake before arriving in Banff this afternoon. Overnight in Banff.

Day 6: Banff

Enjoy the day with free time to relax or book your own activities at your leisure. Banff has activities for all, from taking the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain, relaxing in the Banff hot springs, exploring the bustling town, to outdoor wildlife adventures. Overnight in Banff.

Day 7: Banff to Kamloops

Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer from the mountain resort town of Banff to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. Your journey takes you through ever-changing scenery as you travel between the iconic glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the Interior. Today's highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Overnight in Kamloops.

Day 8: Kamloops to Vancouver

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today's journey, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the B.C. Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Cascade and Coast Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening. Overnight in Vancouver. B, L.

Day 9: Vancouver
