Itinerary:

Day 1: Seoul

Once arrived at Incheon Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel in Seoul.

Overnight in Seoul

Day 2: Seoul City Tour

After breakfast, the tour guide will take you to a Seoul City Tour for all the day. Starting with Changdeokgung Palace Complex [UNESCO], and visit Bukchon Hanok Village and Seoul Jogyesa Temple nearby.

Then, discover the Cheong Wa Dae (Blue House), mostly known as the former Presidential Residence but also for its blue tiles on the Main Office.

In the afternoon, visit the Gwangjang Market. You will be able to taste different foods and buy the traditional clothing, the Hanbok. The name Gwangjang means "to gather from afar and keep altogether". Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) has a meaning of Dream, Design, and Play. It holds so much different events (shows, exhibitions, conferences…).

And to finish this City Tour, the guide will get you to Naksan Park. Located in the centre of the Seoul, this historical and beautiful park allows its visitors to view the magnificence of the entire city.

Day 3: Seoul – Chuncheon – Goseong - Sokcho

After breakfast, transfer to the Samaksan Cable Car to enjoy the view of the Uiamho Lake and all Chuncheon landscape from the airs and from the Uiamho Lake Slywalk.

Then, move to Goseong Unification Observation Tower and Goseong DMZ Museum, where you can see the Haegeumgang River and the islands nearby as well as get a glimpse of various peaks of Geumgangsan Mountain (North Korea).

Day 4: Sokcho – Seorak Mountain - Danyang

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby and transfer to Sokcho to visit Sinheungsa Temple which is home to many cultural heritages. The temple also offers the temple stay program in which participants can experience a temple life by doing activities such as ceremonial service or programs of making a lotus lantern and Buddhist rosary.

Then, after a stop to Gwongeumseong Fortress at Seorak Mountain, let’s transfer to Danyanggang Jando Trail, a 1.2-kilometer-long trekking path along Namhangang River. There are various attractions nearby, including Mancheonha Skywalk, offering a tour experience that covers geology and history.

Day 5: Danyang – Yeongju - Andong

After breakfast, you will meet with the tour guide and transfer to Yeongju where you will have the opportunity to make and taste makgeolli, a Korean alcoholic beverage made with rice. In Korea, makgeolli is often unpasteurized, and the wine continues to mature in the bottle.

Then, after seeing Byeongsanseowon Confucian Academy [UNESCO], let’s transfer to Andong Folk Village nearby, in the heart of the Joseon Dynasty. It is listed by the South Korean government with UNESCO as a World Heritage Site attracts around 1 million visitors every year.

Day 6: Andong - Gyeongju

After breakfast, meet in Andong with the tour guide and move to Gyeongju to visit Daereungwon Tomb Complex (Cheonmachong tomb) which consists of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, characterized as a typical upper class tomb of the Silla period. Cheomseongdae Observatory and Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond (which was the secondary palace used by the crown from the Silla Kingdom), both are unavoidable sites.

Then, the guide will take you to the Gyeongju Bulguksa Temple [UNESCO], representative of Buddhist culture of this period. To end the day, we propose you to experiment the making of ceramic pottery.

Day 7: Gyeongju - Busan

We will be transferred to Busan. On arrival, enjoy your free time in Busan.

Day 8: Busan – Namhae - Suncheon

Visit the Namhae Geumsan Boriam Hermitage, known as one of the most prestigious prayer spots in Korea. Then, the guide will take you to the Seolli Skywalk, a beautiful photo spot in Namhae, 36m from the ground.

Then, move to Suncheon for Naganeupseong Walled Town which contains a fortress town that is over 59m². There are 3 neighbourhoods along the east, south and west.

Day 9: Suncheon – Gangjin – Sunchang - Jeonju

After breakfast, you will meet with the tour guide and transfer to Gangjin to visit Wolnamsaji Temple near the Baekundong Byeolseo Garden and have the experience of tea ceremony after having visited Baekunok Traditional Korean Tea Museum.

Then, move to Sunchang where you will have the opportunity to make and taste gochujang, the Korean red pepper paste. The main ingredient is gochugaru, a chilli pepper powder.

Overnight in Jeonju

Day 10: Jeonju – Maisan Mountain - Daejeon

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby and transfer to Omokdae, from where you can get a view on the 800 houses of Jeonju Hanok Village, we will visit the village then, composed of 735 traditional houses (Hanok). After, always in Jeonju, transfer to Gyeonggijeon Shrine, erected in 1410.

You can see there King Tae-Jo’s portrait, the founder of Joseon dynasty. Then, let’s go to Maisan Mountain which is a Jeollabuk-do situated mountain composed of two peaks of 667 an 673m. Maisan literally means “horse ears mountain”, due to its appearance.

Overnight in Daejeon

Day 11: Daejeon – Gongju - Seoul

After breakfast, move to the Travel Lounge and the Natural Hot Spring Foot Spa in Daejeon. Then you could enjoy in the city of Gongju to visit the Gongju National Museum, 125km away from the capital. It has 10,000 objects including 19 national treasures. In front of the main building is a garden visitors can enjoy after touring the museum. Always in Gongju, see the Gongju Gongsanseong Fortress [UNESCO], to step back to the Baekje period.

After, move to the Royal Tomb of King Muryeong [UNESCO], a brick chamber decorated with lotus patterns, founded in 1971.

Day 12: Seoul

Once got back to Seoul, a driver will take you to Incheon Airport so you can catch your flight home.
