Reykjavik

Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon Tour
This is the perfect combination of the most popular day tour in Iceland with the healing waters of the Blue Lagoon, taking you to see separation of Europe and North America, geysers and hot springs, and the magnificent golden waterfall. The day starts with visit to the Thingvellir valley a place of amazing natural beauty where the land has been torn apart by the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to the largest freshwater lake in Iceland and is the beating heart of Icelandic pride, being the birthplace of the longest standing parliament on the world. The journey then continues to the Geysir park which is filled with bubbling and steaming geothermal springs. The anticipation builds as you approach the viewing point for the Strokkur Geyser, where the ground trembles and almost without warning, the geyser erupts spectacularly to a height of 35 meters. Then you continue to the magnificent and majestic Golden Waterfall. As the water melts from the second-largest glacier in Iceland, Langjökull, it reaches Gullfoss where it falls 32 meters down into a canyon with a thunderous roar. An amazing site and favourite of visitors. You then head back to the capital area to prepare for a visit at one the wonders of the world, the Blue Lagoon. The mineral-rich waters offer a unique and first-hand experience of Iceland's plentiful geothermal springs. The warm waters offer a perfect way to relax and reflect upon the natural beauty of this island and is a must-see when traveling to Iceland. Note that after returning to Reykjavik from the Golden Circle, there will be a 1.5-hour break before heading to the Blue Lagoon. Along the tour our local hosts will make your experience comfortable and are happy to answer any questions you might have about our peculiar country.

Snaefellsnes and Kirkjufell Tour
Your Snæfellsnes adventure begins with us picking you up from Reykjavik. Stopping for supplies for the day ahead we will then start the journey to the peninsula driving through beautiful scenery including the atlantic with backdrops of mountains along our path to our first stop. Ytri Tunga is a farm near the site of a beautiful black beach known for a wide variety of wildlife including many birds and even some seals! Next we will make a visit to Arnarstapi where we will walk along the coastline of this picturesque little village. Here we will take a break for lunch. There is an option for you to visit Vatnshellir Lava cave situated in Snæfellsjökull National Park. Here you can explore the amazing world of lava formations, countless stalactites and stalagmites. Onto another volcanic setting, we will visit Djúpalónssandur that offers majestic views of the sea and home to many stories of shipwrecks and adventure. Leaving the beach we carry on towards the northern side of the peninsula stopping by the quaint town of Grundarfjörður. A photographers dream as it is surrounded by many beautiful waterfalls, beaches, cliffs and other natural wonders including the impressive striking Kirkufell mountain. At 463 metres tall, it rises tall against the idyllic fishing village. We carry on to the lava field of Berserkjahraun, a dramatic visual that is home to many Viking legends from the pagan times. On our return, we go through rural highland passes, where a view of Gerðuberg basalt columns can be seen. These geometric shapes rising can be mistaken for man made creations but are a result of thousands of years of natural phenomena. After which we head back to Reykjavík where you will be dropped off in the evening.

Boston

North End Food Tour
Your North End experience begins at the lifeblood of Boston, the Boston Harbor. Walk through a scenic waterfront park, with views of the harbor, East Boston and the historic wharfs lining Atlantic Ave. We’ll make our way to the heart of the North End, with views of some of the most historic sites and properties in the neighbourhood, some dating back to the late 1600s and early 1700s. Delicious food is never far away in the North End. Your guide will introduce you to a small, hidden Italian bakery serving up fresh bread daily. Break bread with your fellow travellers and let the carbs give you the energy to continue your adventure! A proper Italian salumeria is next, and you’ll have a chance to enjoy Italian meats and cheeses at their finest and freshest. Next up, we’ll take in the energy of the North End’s busiest corridor, Hanover Street. It’s time for a mid-tour break with your guide at a traditional Italian café. Here, you will have a chance to enjoy your choice of a classic cappuccino, espresso, or tea. Let the caffeine kick in as we go back in time into North End history. You’ll hear stories about some of the most influential events that have happened in Boston, including Paul Revere’s midnight ride. We will make our way to the Old North Church and step inside the hallowed walls. To this day, North Enders still attend this church, which is famous for its role in the Revolution. After church, we’ll dive deeper into the local side of the North End. A taste of pizza awaits at a neighbourhood favourite and the stories are endless. We cap off the North End food experience with samples of the best of the best Italian pastries along the backstreets of this delicious neighbourhood. Hopefully there will be a chance to meet and chat with the area’s top bakers, if we catch them at a quiet moment. After the tour, you’ll surely be ready to make a dinner reservation. Consult with your guide for the best recommendations and we’ll set you up for an amazing time in Boston.
