Proudly premiering on board Queen Elizabeth, legends of the Australian sporting world will delight with stories from their illustrious careers during a 7-night round trip sailing from Sydney. During candid talks, guests will hear about their highs and lows, their motivations, and their career-defining moments.

Three Australian sporting icons will join legendary cricketer and commentator Brett Lee on the inaugural Voyage of Sporting Greats on 13 February 2024. Former AFL-legend and Australian of the Year 2014 Adam Goodes, Australia’s most successful female professional golfer Karrie Webb AO, and Sunrise sports presenter and host of multiple Olympic and Commonwealth Games Mark Beretta will all step on board Queen Elizabeth for this sailing. 

Queen Elizabeth’s program for the voyage will boast a raft of engaging talks, bespoke sporting activities and tailored sport themed shore excursions in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart. Brett Lee

Brett Lee is a former Australian international cricketer and fast bowler. He was a key part of the dominant era of Australia cricket in the 2000’s.Brett won the Allan Border medal in 2008 which is highly regarded as the most prestigious individual award in Australian cricket. Brett Lee will delight guests with entertaining stories about his career as one of the country’s most skilled cricketers. He will share insights into cricket and his life after his career as a sportsman.

Adam Goodes

Adnyamathanha man, indigenous community leader, former professional footballer in the Australian Football League (AFL) who played for the Sydney Swans and dual Brownlow medallist Adam Goodes was named Australian of the Year in 2014, in recognition of his tireless community work in addition to his sporting achievements. Adam Goodes will participate in a fireside chat hosted by sport presenter Mark Beretta where Adam will be talking about his career, what drives and inspires him and the projects he is currently working on.

Karrie Webb ao

Karrie Webb ao is Australia’s most successful female professional golfer winning seven career majors and41 LPGA tour titles as well as 13 Australian,15 European and 3 Japanese events at the time of her induction to the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2022.Karrie will take the stage to share herstory, insights from the world of golfing and provide the audience with useful tips on how to improve their game. She will join the other sporting greats on stage fora panel discussion about the Australian sports world, current trends and upcoming events.

Mark Beretta

Mark Beretta is best known as the Sport Presenter on ‘Sunrise’ on Channel 7.He has hosted multiple Olympic and Commonwealth Games, Supercars, Australian Open Tennis, the Sydney-Hobart yacht race and much more. Mark will share stories of Australian sporting history and anecdotes from behind the scenes of the world of sports and interview his fellow sporting icons to share their remarkable stories. Guests can join Mark on a bespoke sport themed shore excursion.
