Discovery Parks - Ballina
You’ll relax the moment you arrive at Discovery Parks – Ballina. This caravan park, in the picture-perfect NSW Northern Rivers region, is just two hours from Brisbane and moments away from the Richmond River and Ballina Town Centre.
Enjoy the great outdoors on Ballina’s river walks and extensive pathways for cycling, jogging, skateboarding or rollerblading. Go fishing, swimming and paddle boarding, or take a river cruise. Visit Ballina for craft shops, markets, quality seafood and the Naval Maritime Museum. Make sure you drop by to see Ballina’s Big Prawn – and taste some of the famous local produce for yourself.
Discovery Parks - Emerald Beach
Nestled between the beach and the bush, Discovery Parks – Emerald Beach is your next North Coast adventure.
Swim, surf, and snorkel in the ocean, or jump into a kayak to explore local rivers and creeks. Seaside play meets a nature lover’s paradise, with plenty of outdoor activities to keep big and little kids entertained. Head into nearby Coffs Harbour for the Big Banana Fun Park, botanic gardens and Butterfly House. Ready for some magical, natural beauty? Witness the migration of humpback whales from late May to November.
Discovery Parks – Forster
Families return year after year to the magnificent river and facilities of Discovery Parks - Forster. A hidden treasure of the region, this caravan park is on the tranquil shores of the Wallamba River.
Relax and recharge or jump straight into an extraordinary selection of water activities – the choice is yours. The river offers fishing, kayaking and water skiing by day, and amazing sunsets by night. Nature lovers will enjoy exploring the coast and hinterland national parks, lookouts and beaches.
Four-legged friends are also warmly welcomed to the park with a number of dog-friendly facilities and activities to enjoy: stay in selected pet-friendly cabins & sites, play in the leash-free area, join our Discovery Barks Walk every Sunday from 8am and scrub clean in our dog wash and blow dry for just $10 (also available to Forster locals).
