This exquisite island is known for terraced rice fields, beautiful beaches and volcanic mountains. Its lush countryside is home to iconic stone temples and mischievous monkeys. Lembar (Lombok), Indonesia

Located in the Lesser Sunda Islands, Lombok is not as well known as its sister island, Bali, and therefore boasts less-crowded beaches and a truly laid-back atmosphere. 

Komodo, Indonesia
