Sapporo (Otaru), Japan

Sapporo, one of Japan's youngest major cities, gained prominence as the host of the 1972 Winter Olympics. Enjoy stunning views from Okurayama Observatory atop a ski jump, explore 60 historical buildings at the Historic Village of Hokkaido, or relax in Noboribetsu’s mineral-rich hot springs.

Akita, Japan
