Day 1: Budapest, Embark Ship

Welcome to Budapest! We’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your luxurious floating home for the next 15 days. Unpack, relax and get acquainted with your ship. Stay: 14 Nights, a Concerto River Ship. Daily: Dinner

Day 2: Budapest

SIGNATURE EXPERIENCE Enjoy a welcome reception at Budapest Railway Station’s Royal Waiting Room before boarding the Grand Empress steam train. Take in the scenery as you journey along the Danube River to Esztergom, enjoying lunch on board along the way. Afterwards, set out on a guided exploration of picturesque Esztergom, a royal seat from the late 10th to the mid-13th centuries. Later, re-board your ship and sail to Vienna. (April to September departures). Start the day with a tour of Budapest. Daily: Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Day 3: Vienna

Take in Vienna’s Ringstrasse, plus enjoy a visit to St Stephen’s Cathedral. Daily: Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Day 4: Vienna 

SIGNATURE EXPERIENCE After dinner, head to the princely family of Liechtenstein’s City Palace in the heart of Vienna, where we have arranged an exclusive cocktail party and private recital, just for you. A full orchestra will perform classical masterpieces by Mozart and Strauss. You will also be enchanted by an operatic recital and a performance by some members of the Mozart Boys’ Choir.

FREEDOM OF CHOICE™ Perhaps pay a visit to the opulent Schonbrunn Palace, with its 1,441 rooms and perfectly manicured gardens. Or tick another country off your list and journey to Slovakia’s Bratislava. Otherwise, get active with a bike ride to Klosterneuburg Monastery, a beautiful 12th-century Augustinian monastery. Day 5: Durnstein, Melk

Day 6 - Aschach, Passau

Today, you can choose to join an optional tour to Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic or visit Salzburg. Alternatively, enjoy a relaxing sailing day to Passau.

Insider Experience – Bavarian Evening on Board

Tonight, enjoy a traditional Bavarian experience on board. Sample delicious local beer and snacks, accompanied by traditional folk music, song and dance.

Enjoy a fascinating day excursion to the city of Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic, home to more than 300 historical buildings.

Take a trip through the stunning scenery of Austria. Visit Mondsee, where you may recognise the famous Wedding Church from ‘The Sound of Music’. Day 7: Regensburg

FREEDOM OF CHOICE™ In Regensburg, explore its atmospheric World Heritage-listed city centre or perhaps get active and take a guided bike ride to the Walhalla memorial. Once again, enjoy the chance to personalise your day. Daily: Breakfast Lunch Dinner

Day 8: Nuremberg

Day 12: Rudesheim, Koblenz

FREEDOM OF CHOICE™ Take gondola ride or a visit to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. In Rudesheim, choose between two experiences. Later, cruise through the Rhine Valley to Koblenz. Day 13: Koblenz, Andernach

Day 14: Amsterdam
